MGM Growth Properties - REIT - Questions on Reputation
Hey everyone, was curious to see if anyone knew anything about MGM Growth Properties - REIT. It seems like they are a solid group acquiring large hotels in the past few years. Anyone have any ideas on the culture or how average pay is like? I would love to join the team if they have any opportunities but am curious if anyone knows anything about this REIT.
You understand that it’s a ground lease / NNN lease company right? They don’t operate hotels or casinos, they just do ground leases underneath them
I understand they don't operate the hotels or casinos but don't they still handle M&A transactions and acquisitions of new land/hotels? I know they handle the leases for MGM properties around the world but was more curious about acquisitions and what else they focus on.
Yes, I would just keep in mind that ground leases typically are pretty straightforward, especially given the tenants are publicly traded, investment grade tenants in established markets. Not a lot of hair on the deals they do
