MIT SA+P CRE Investment Short Course

I believe this is the first year of it's existence, but is anyone else looking at this course? Its around $2,500, goes over CRE investing from financial point of view as well as macro economic principles. There is a slight discount if you sign up in the next 2-3 weeks. Any thoughts on the course content or professors (David Geltner of MIT and Tod McGrath of Boston Properties) for entry level finance/investment professionals?

I mean, I'm sure it will be interesting, but I would just buy his books (https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_2_13?url=search-alias%3Dstripbo…</a">Amazon Link), pay for a modeling class, and save $1,500 bucks.

If you already have a job and are just intellectually curious then go for it, but if you're hoping to put this on your resume then there are better uses of your time...
