Morning Calm Management

Does anyone have any insights/experience with this firm out of DC? Currently interviewing for a summer analyst and I can't find much online about them besides recent transactions (probably because they're a young firm and was founded about a decade ago).

Just chiming in here that I think we have run out of names for firms after seeing this.

By the way, the origin of “morning calm” is that Korea is the Land of the Morning Calm.  It’s an expression of the beauty of the mountains and landscape in the morning. I suspected this and looked up the founder, and he is Korean, so makes a lot of sense to me.

Part of my childhood was in South Korea where my dad worked for the US Army (Happy Veterans Day WSO vets - thank you for your service).

Yep that's the reason

That's actually really cool, but it definitely comes off like a company that makes one of those nightlight clocks that slowly gets brighter and plays increasingly louder ambient birdsong as the sun rises.

I interviewed with them for an analyst role in their DC office. They seemed to be nice genuine people and they made sure I knew the role came with long hours
