MSRE Full Time Recruting
Hey everyone,
I’m currently a senior in college with the following experience:
- REIB internship (No return)
- Accounting Internship (Sophomore Summer)
I’m considering an MSRE program that would start next summer and finish the following spring. Unfortunately, the program won’t give me another summer internship opportunity before I start full-time recruiting, which means I’d be going into recruiting without any recent summer internship on my resume.
Given my experience so far, do you think I’ll still be competitive without a recent internship? Or would the MSRE itself (combined with my past experience) help fill that gap?
Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated!
Thanks!

In summary, while the MSRE can provide some advantages, the lack of a recent internship may be a hurdle. You will need to rely heavily on networking and self-study to make up for this gap and improve your competitiveness in the job market.
