MSRED or Learn Development on My Own
I'm currently working in tech, and I make decent money, but I've always had a passion for real estate. I've been able to accumulate some rental properties, and during this summer, I plan to do rehab a fixer-upper and rent it out.
I'm interested in moving careers to real estate development, but I'm nervous to take out a huge loan for a MSRED, as well as take time of from getting income. Should I try to tackle a development project on my own? That way I could learn from doing. I might make mistakes, but I figure it will be less than the cost of a MSRED.
