Fair enough. Interested in:
- Pay
- Overall lifestyle/workload, especially as compared to REPE or lifeco
- Whether you enjoy long-term hold assets or whether it gets stale
- Whether you see build-to-core and how you like working on it
- Overall pros and cons
I mean the biggest thing about REITS is that they are massive versus REPE which is very small and people fill alot of roles
Multifamily REITs would be vertically integrated with site staff in-house I'd think, so yes, I'd expect they would be larger in headcount/size. In terms of asset management/acquisitions/capital markets, etc, I'd think they'd likely staff similarly to an REPE firm though, right?
Still interested in any hot takes from multifamily REIT land.
Didn't work FT but interned at one, pay is slightly lower, lifestyle is mad chill, you tend to sit on assets longer because of the tax structure.
