Need Advice on How to Recruit for Buyside from Current Seat?

Hi all, I'm a year into my current seat where I underwrite large real estate loans for commercial properties (these loans get secutizied later on in CMBS). In my role, I work with a lot of tropy assets and mostly do SASB and some BS holds. The performance of our team is pretty solid on the street. My question are three folds: a) what buyside roles in RE do I qualify for the most: Acquisition/RE Debt/RE PC? b) Is there a specific timeline to follow? c) any headhunters to reach out to and how does that process work?

While I have a year under my belt, my brother (also in the same seat but differet bank) just started on the desk also wants to recruit for buyside. Any advice for him (esp. recruiting timeline and technical)? I'd appreciate anyone who can help me here a bit. Thanks.
