Networking for Fall Internship?
I'm hoping to gain some experience in real estate in the fall (or generally during the school year). I was wondering if it's possible to network with firms to ask for internship opportunities that don't already have any posted opportunities. Has anyone done something similar and has advice? That's probably the only way you'd get a fall internship, to be honest. Most firms aren't going to have established programs, but you may find one in need through networking.
Did it a few times while in UG. You either need a referral from someone or to have a great informational interview that leads to a real interview for a fall internship. The other thing I will say is don't do it unless you're willing to be there at least 25-30 hours a week.
