Networking in this environment?

Thoughts on cold-emailing/emailing undergrad alumni at a time like this? I've been reaching out to people at companies I'm interested in. In the last week or so, I've been acknowledging that now might not be a good time in my message, but any message at all increasingly feels... poorly timed? Anyone have any suggestions?

Mixed feelings on this one. Yes people are probably at home, and may have more time to do a call. However, the markets and future is really in flux, not sure if people will be super receptive. If you do email people, please acknowledge the situation and ask for advice in light of it.

This will be a universally difficult situation, more so for some. Will it probably open up opportunities in the future, of course, but that is not the mindset today.
