NYU Undergraduate of Real Estate
Dear,
I am an incoming NYU Econ student who wants to differentiate from Sternies. I want to break into high-finance in general (IB, MC, PE, etc) and I was wondering if NYU undergrad Econ & RE would look unique and competitive. Are you familiar with their undergrad RE program??
Thanks!
If you don't want to actually go into real estate, just focus on econ and general corporate finance. Real estate is a world of it's own to a certain degree
and accounting. IB recruiters love to see a big fat A on accounting
Agree with posters above me. If you want to work in Finance study finance, business, econ.
If you want to differentiate yourself start networking from day one of being on campus. That will stand out much more than studying real estate.
Thanks for the advice!
Majoring in RE isn’t going to differentiate yourself for IB and such, it’s just going to easily weed you out from the Sterns.
