Hi! Recently received an offer for PGIM's RE Equity group, wanted to get more info on the role & career trajectory & reputation if anyone has any insight - both sides of the coin are appreciated!

Congrats ! I’m quite familiar with their platform as I have connected with a few folks there. I’d say you’re off to a great start. PGIM is a top brand and they do a ton of great deals that are featured in the news. To my knowledge, PGIM offers a 3 year analyst program. You pretty muchbare guaranteed a bump to associate if you do a good job, if not then you’ll have to go somewhere else. I’d say the work-life balance is great while also getting impressive compensation. After 2 years of being analyst, you can literally jump to any top REPE firm - Blackstone, TPG, Carlyle, etc. Those firms typically only hire people from other top firms. Hope that helped.
