What do you mean by who the players are in town? I have experience in that market for housing investments.
Who or what specifically are you looking for?
Contacts, Names of larger firms, deals?
Uhhh it's pretty institutional at this point, with the exception of office guys maybe. Lennar, Wood Partners, Alliance, Camden, Crescent, Morgan, have all developed multi-product there at this point in the cycle.
I was curious as to which institutional shops (IB, PE, RE) are physically based in this market.
Not sure what product type you are inquiring on. I am based in Phoenix, there are many institutional and institutional quality shops w/ physical offices in the market on top of the names above.
Lincoln, Prologis, Liberty Property Trust, LBA, VEREIT (HQ), Wolff (HQ), Alliance Residential (HQ), Majestic, Trammell Crow, Eastgroup Properties, Hines, RED Development (HQ), Opus, Healthcare Trust of America (HQ), First Industrial, Macerich, Mark Taylor, Wood Partners, DPC, Exeter.
