For those of you that specialize on one or a few property types, how did you go about selecting what to specialize in?
Currently interviewing for roles that specialize in all of the major food groups. All else being equal, how should I go about selecting which arena to focus on?

As you can see from the below, the food group with the most action is fruits and veggies, but of course if you can specialize in something like fats and oils you've got a higher barrier to entry and can probably make more money if you're good at it. Less competition

^this, honestly this is how I've heard it for most people.
I "specialized" in financing/cap markets at first, then market analysis. Both of which require knowing some for pretty much all. How/why? Basically opportunities presented as such and I liked them.
