Pivoting into Green Street - is this possible?

Currently in CB at BB. It was never the plan to stay in CB, and I wanted to pursue roles in research or real estate. Green Street seems like a great opportunity to combine both of those interests.

It always feels like when I look at roles in other lines of finance like IB/HF/PE that it’s always “too late” to get in unless you were on the right career track since junior year of college. I don’t have any research/AM/ or RE related internships, but I cover real estate companies within my portfolio. Would pivoting to Green Street from CB even be possible? Or am I sorta “boxed out” from CRE and Research?

trying to network with Green Street, but it’s a bit difficult considering I don’t live in California.
