Portfolio Analyst - CBRE
Does anyone have any info on what a portfolio analyst does at CBRE? It sounds like a mix of servicing/asset management/underwriting. The job description and functions seems all over the place. Also any info on comp? Thanks in advance.

So, CBRE is shall we say... large, thus if you could identify the actual business unit/division within CBRE it would help. It sounds like it could be for a debt team in CBRE Investors (which is fairly firewalled from the brokerage and other divisions), but it could be something related to Capital Markets. I am not really sure if they do debt servicing along with origination, but it would be logical. The job description sounds like a classic "debt shop" role, but I think comp/structure would be different if part of Capital Markets vs. CBRE Investors, or something else for that matter.
Given that, and the comment below, this sounds like a more classic loan servicing unit, think credit portfolio management. I would doubt this is within CBRE Investors, but I would want to be sure, but 'Corp Real Estate Services' sounds like something inside the core part of CBRE, probably connected or managed within CBRE Capital Markets.
This is spot on. Think it's under their Banking & Financial Services umbrella, so not CBRE Investors. They do a lot with servicing construction loans, from what I've heard.
