Curious if anyone here knows much about them and what they are doing. Know they have been active for at least a few decades, and familiar with them previously doing JV deals with operators. Sounds like they continue to raise equity funds, but not sure what they are focused on. Reputation, etc?

From what I remember, they predominantly focused on multifamily.
I had the opportunity to meet Russell Appel a few years ago at a CFA event. His views on the market were very interesting. Furthermore, he was very kind.
What were interesting about his views? Thought differently about the market? Outside the box ideas?

Good group of guys who are a multi owner/operator based in NYC with an emphasis on the sun belt. Well regarded and relatively active in the multifamily investment space.
