Principal side before D/E brokerage? Worth the time?
Pretty set on pursuing a path in debt & equity brokerage. Currently work for an institutional team as an analyst. Wondering if its worth jumping to the principal side (probably debt fund) for a few years and then jumping back to an institutional brokerage team. While i'm sure i'd learn more on the principal side, idk if its worth the headache of jumping around.
Anyone on here take a similar path? Was it worth it?
