Production Analyst @ Lument
What is Lument’s reputation within the mortgage banking industry? Within affordable housing? Any idea about pay/ comp as a production analyst working for one of their teams?
Thnx

Career Resources
curious about the same.
Will be the same type of job at any agency lender/originator. Your pay will probably be below those of Greystone/Berkadia however (they are known to pay their analysts really well).
Lument is a combo of Hunt, Lancaster Pollard, and RED Capital Group so it's really multiple agency lenders combined into one larger agency lender. Will probably be a player down the road, but not right now IMO. Think if it's your first job, then you will be able to learn a lot and should have decent exits if you play your cards right.
Old coworker of mine got a job there as a Junior Asset Manager in Dallas and I think he has enjoyed his time so far, COVID withstanding.
Thank you! Any ideas about compensation as an analyst there?
Think it depends on your location and YoE, but as a whole, I would venture and guess analyst base is around $50-60k and a sizable bonus to where all-in comp would be around $80-100k. Lots of variables in place, especially ones you cannot control like deal flow and closings. But the numbers I gave are a ballpark for agency analysts overall.
Thnx! Also idk if you can answer this but when would a production analyst be required to take FINRA exams for a role like this?
Not sure about that one. Can't say I know any CRE production analysts that had to sit for the FINRA but maybe some firms require it? I'm not sure but hopefully someone else can answer that for you.
Incoming CRE analyst here at a major, global bank lender. I did not have to sit for FINRA.
I applied for this as well... have you received info for interview yet?
Not yet!
