Multiple PD alumni have gone to BX, Starwood, Invesco, PGIM, etc., and many have landed roles with the earlier sponsors of the program (Eastdil, Brookfield, to name a few)

It’s a great intro to CRE that’ll help you land your first or second internship. if you’re already well versed in the material, it’s super low commitment and easy, but the network it unlocks is still pretty great.

I was a mentor for a Project Destined in Europe. Cannot talk about the courses, but you will do a real case study including a site visit (PD pays for everything) and visit the company who you do the case study with. The companys mentors basically teach you step by step how to analyse the deal. Invaluable experience imo.

I did the program, and it was the first exposure I had to CRE. It got me really interested in real estate, so I highly recommend the program! Just beware that the weekly Linkedin posts are somewhat burdensome, but in hindsight I appreciate that it taught me the importance of visibility and networking.

I did it, I'll touch more on the contacts you make (and potentially make) out of the program. I've regularly kept in touch with a few of the mentors and people involved with the program over the past few years and it has helped me immensely. A lot of head honchos are aware (and advocate) for the program as well in certain firms.

Just an FYI, it is a program where you get what you put in, and it has changed a lot, but it opened a ton of doors for me coming from a school that is often overlooked.

I did Project Destined and it was definitely worthwhile. However, like others have mentioned, your experience is what you make of it. It is an amazing way to meet other people in the field and expand your network. I have been able to make friends through the program as well.

In terms of technical expertise, Project Destined has a financial modeling course that is a great intro to financial modeling. There are also several specialized programs that will help you become more versed in specific products such as: retail, industrial, affordable housing, etc. Not to mention there are early exposure programs meant specifically for Project Destined students.
