RE Bridge Debt Shop?

Hi everyone, Since my last topic I posted (searching for first job in RE) I have been in contact with many individuals in the industry. Today I spoke with someone who works at a Top Tier RE IBD and after telling him how I wanna get into development but would be willing to find anything right now just to get my foot in the door and get some experience under my belt he suggested that I look at “Bridge Debt Shops”... I know what a bridge loan is and stuff like that but I’m not certain how I would find a firm that specializes in this.

While scouring the internet for more info I thought I’d post here and see if there are any recommendations for firms/shops that specialize in Bridge Debt/Loans or how I should go about searching for this. Would it just be a division at a common RE lending firm?

Any suggestions on this would also be appreciated. I guess working in lending (bridge debt) specifically could be a good way to gain developer contacts and in hopes move into a position at a development firm in the future give a good relationship is created between me and the developer.
