RE Development Resources

Currently PERE analyst, my middle market firm has a thinly staffed but very active development arm which I have gotten exposure to recently. Kind of been thrown into some projects in supporting roles, but my experience is in acquisitions and asset management, and I feel like I need a better foundation so that I can start to contribute more and maybe make a lateral move. Looking for some resources, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m in Southern CA and I took classes at UCLA Extension. One class in particular (Real Estate Development and Construction Management) taught by Adnan is by far the most informative course I’ve taken on development.

Besides that, I got the ULI book on Development and have made friends with Project Managers who have helped me learn a bit about the general process and typical problems/ setbacks (pun intended).
