Real Estate Exam

Hey guys!

I am looking to get started on preparing for my real estate exam. For those of you that did the pre-courses online, what is the best website for this preparation? I looked into the sites listed below, however I am open to suggestion. I'll be taking this for the state of Pennsylvania.

  1. CE Shop
  2. Realtors Education Institute Online
  3. Real Estate Express

Thanks!

"The Duke of Wall Street" As an acquisitions / development professional, can anyone lay out the pros and cons of obtaining a broker license?

Pros: You can lease or sell third party real estate

Cons: As a acquisitions or development guy, this is in no way what you do

Agreed to both the pros and cons. I ultimately would like to development and / or require my own properties in the near feature and view having the ability to broker my own deal as a benefit. One of the cons that I vaguely remember is that, as a licensed broker, I have to disclose this fact to all participants in a deal, which has some negative impact to myself (that I cannot recall).

Does anyone have experience with this occurring? I know my point was vague so allow me to look up the exact scenario that I'm referring to.
