Real Estate Investment Mortgage Conduit (REMIC) vs mREIT?

I currently work for a Real Estate Investment Mortgage Conduit (REMIC) who specializes in the acquisition, securitization and sale of MBS pools. I really want to label the company as a Private Mortgage REIT on my resume because I feel that no-one knows what a REMIC is. Is there really that much of a difference between REMIC and mREITs? One major difference is that the conduit does not have any accredited investor and acquires mortgages through warehouse loans and the reinvesting of capital gains. I believe the REMIC even has the same business model as an mREIT. Could I get away with putting PRIVATE mREIT? Or will I look unintelligent.
