Real estate license in development
for those of you in development, is having your real estate license worth having or worth keeping active? Is being to represent in your own deals worth it especially if you're at a small shop?
I've already been working in RE for more than 6 years now, but never really felt the urge to get it, at least with the roles I've been in.
I’d say it depends what side of the fence you fall on. If you’re a more entrepreneurial “deals guy” or you have an opportunity to get commission for deals you source for your firm, then yes it’s worth it. If you work for a large firm in more of a corporate environment then you probably won’t have any use for it.
