Real estate market - Let’s talk
I’d love to hear from some of the RE professionals on here how they view the current residential market.
I spent the last 2 months touring 30+ properties and making 11 offers, all of which were rejected/beat. I was targeting Midwest (MN) townhomes as a rental property that my wife could live in for 2 months while she was there. The market there is absurd - each offer was 10-15% over list, waived inspection and appraisal, and had a significant earnest deposit. Each time I was beat by an all cash offer or an offer with a significant down payment (50%).
Would love to hear from some you cynical minded individuals. Am I wrong in thinking there’s NO way this ends smoothly?
