Real Estate Private Equity Firms in Austin?

Can someone point me to a good list or provide recommendations for real estate private equity firms in Austin, TX?

I know about Amherst, but they are primarily SFR so hoping to find good shops with a more diversified assets.

If I were a troll I would suggest googling "real estate private equity firms in austin" but I'm not a troll so I'm not going to do that. To be honest, there are not a ton. Austin is not a finance/commercial real estate hub and has not been a place for institutional RE investment for very long. There are a lot of smaller repe firms that are popping up as a result of the booming growth, but many of them are very new. For a long time, any investment into Austin real estate happened either by the State of Texas (ERS), University of Texas system (UTIMCO) or in Dallas or Houston (think Hines and Crow/other Trammell Crow companies at the grandest scale) since that's where the money is/was. Austin wasn't a rich place until like, 5-10 years ago. Austin still has an incredibly small CRE footprint compared to other metros, it barely breaks the Top 30 in terms of CRE $ value in the United States. Similarly sized in that regard would be Charlotte or Nashville. Some of the most notable developers/investors in Austin would be, in no particular order 1) Pennybacker, 2) Cypress Real Estate Advisors, 3) Virtus , 4) Endeavor, 5) TCC, 6) Transwestern, 7) Stream, 8) Riverside and as mentioned earlier - UTIMCO and ERS in the public realm.

Thanks, yeah I think most of these names cross reference with what I have already researched. But I think there is still value in asking this community as often times people here have a more nuanced view than a list of recent fundraising activity or a linkedin search.
