Real Estate Roles in Tech Companies

Does anyone have any idea about Real Estate Acquisitions/Investments roles in Tech companies ( Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc.) and what are the compensation for these type of roles?

I have seen many Tech companies have Social Impact groups and pledges Billions of dollars to invest in affordable housing/workforce housing.

I use to work in a RE role at a firm similar to those listed but a tier below. Comp was pretty standard to just traditional F500 companies in say corporate finance.

Very relaxed culture and exciting projects and it wasn’t just lease deals as my firm had tons of holdings and always in contact with developers. I’ve met a few guys from Amazon in their RE development groups and they seems to love it. Just to note, most of these firms will use the consulting services of say a JLL or CBRE for their transactions/development.
