Real Estate Tax Credit Asset Management

Hi all. I recently transitioned from big 4 (auditing) to Consulting/Technical role on the investment accounting policy team of a large insurance company. Currently i am primarily responsible for technical accounting for PE/HF/Tax Credit deals. There is an opening on Tax Credit team for an analyst position where i would be reporting directly to the guy in charge of the portfolio (job summary and description below). I am most likely moving to NY in about 12 months, and tried to research if there was a demand for tax credits professionals, but could not find anything right away.

Any thoughts on possible transitions or progression if i would pursue this opportunity?

Thank you!
