RedSky Capital / JZ Capital Partners

Has anyone heard of Redsky or JZ Capital? The two firms formed a Joint Venture and are currently developing or redeveloping several significant projects in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and South Florida.

"CRE Sparky" Have heard of RedSky and they are very active in Brooklyn...one of the largest landowners in that borough. Also active on the Miami area.

Whoa, lets not get ahead of ourselves. They're like a second or third tier Brooklyn developer, unless you are referring to literal raw land that they own. Can't comment on their activity in the Miami market except I know they're active.

Redsky are huge owners in the Williamsburg market. They are currently finishing up leasing their retail portfolio to hip tenants. Their tenants include the Apple store on Bedford Avenue and Sweetgreen etc. They were the most bullish company in BK years ago with the emergence of Williamsburg.

They are shifting to developing more now and are easing up on acquisitions. I know the company well.
