REPE Profile Evaluation

Interested in getting into acquisitions for REPE. Wondering if there is anyone in the field who could evaluate my candidacy (admittedly based on very few datapoints). Obviously there are a lot of variables, but how would employers value someone with 3-5 years working for one of the main CRE advisory firms (think CoStar, Trepp, RCA, Reis, etc.) working with clients on custom research projects / developing analytics / etc. and now on my way to an M7 that has a very strong real estate presence. Anything i can do to make myself a better candidate (such as go into REIB first)? I know networking is huge for this, but do I even have a shot with my lack of asset level analysis / banking experience?
