Research/Stretegy Roles

Hi all,

I am currently interviewing for a research/strategy role at a well-known buy side shop affiliated with an insurance company and want to better understand what career trajectories look like for folks in that kind of role. What are the exits like? Is there a path to investments/acquisitions teams typically?

For context, I currently work in investment sales (boutique firm) and am pursuing a MSRE at NYU.

Would appreciate any insight.
