Rialto capital CMBS

I have an interview with Rialto for their CMBS analyst position in Miami and was wondering if you guys have any insight regarding the interview process. Also, are there a lot of technical questions?

I know them for their b-piece buying and CMBS origination (they may do more but that's all i know of). They are a b-piece buyer, one of the most active. They also do CMBS origination - they have a huge advantage since they are a b-piece buyer and can put any shit collateral they want in any pool, leading to wide spreads and massive points on all their deals which are almost exclusively shit collateral that they would kick out if they didn't originate. TBH it's not a bad business model. they're probably doing very well. i dont see them slowing down anytime soon.

I just closed a funky Mixed Use CMBS deal out in Vegas that had a $1MM holdback with Release Triggers and there is no way I could've placed it into CMBS if shops like Rialto, C-III, 5 Mile didn't exist.

The guys at Rialto are smart and wiling to structure a deal as opposed to hit the green or red button right away.

I'd take the offer if they give it to you.
