Do you know anything about how they hire? Obviously need to network, but they don't seem to hire just anyone like other shops.

Very good shop.  One of the best in NYC; kind of the equivalent of the top tier teams at the big brokerage shops, except the whole firm is the team.  Same caveats as all other brokers - their incentives are never really aligned with either their client or their counterparty, so they can't be trusted to be honest or upfront.  And there is definitely some risk in the sense that Aaron Jungreis is the glue holding the place together; as he goes, so does the firm.

Probably need to be Jewish and tied into their specific community if you want to be hired.  Or at least... it's a massive plus.  I don't know anyone who works there who isn't.
