They’ve had mass exodus top to bottom over the past 6 months. Three senior guys left and started their own shop (Tourmaline) and I know they’ve had significant back office turnover as well. I’ve heard David Rubenstein can be difficult to work for and everything has to be run up the ladder with multiple layers and little decision making power even at the VP level.

They were real players when the old man was still around running things but sadly his son seems to be making a mess of things as of late.

 

All they do is transitional office deals which is uncertain at best in the current environment. Ex. the wannamaker building in philly which they own and have significant looming vacancy and are probably going to sell for a loss. Sweatshop hours and pretty significant turnover. I would avoid. Only pro is that their office is fantastic - cira centre in university city and has crazy amenities
