S2 - what is going on?
I saw the real deal article on s2 today but it didn’t seem to have a lot of details. Does anyone know what is going on with their deals?

Guess they couldn't get all their deals in that REIT they made last year.
Scott is the case study for why anyone who is nervous about going on their own should do it because if you time things right it’s not that hard
The guys JUST raised a nearly $400M fund to target distressed Sunbelt multi deals. The TRD article is about one deal that went sour, on a 290-unit deal. But the new fund has already bought 5K units. The private REIT stuff is going to be interesting to watch, but the "is the other shoe about to drop?" headline was a tad overblown.
