SaaS sales to real estate finance role after msre?

Hello,

What is the likelihood of going from SaaS sales to real estate finance role after completing an msre (finance track)? The school is a local semi-target where various small local firms recruit out of the msre program. Not a top school or well known on a national level. I would like to down the line be in a client facing cre role not back office. I had two interviews for roles like this doing 10-100m deals and bombed them both not knowing the material being so early in program. I am holding off on applying for more non-internship roles for now. Staying in touch with the guys though and explained the situation. It was a good personality fit but they want argus, etc.

Full time res luxury leasing or part time cre analyst intern 20 hours not name brand firm or full time SaaS 45k base out by 5pm easy to finish masters degree at night. It's a part time masters everyone is working full time.

SaaS is highest pay right now but would I easily be able to make the switch without being labeled non/cre sales person? Fresh out of undergrad no other work experience.
