Salary JLL/CBRE

Throw away account here to not out myself.

Does anyone have solid info on what Senior PM salary range is like at places like JLL/CBRE? I tried to get a feel for where other people are at scanning the thread below but it didn't really help answer my question as numbers are all over the place: what-is-your-compensation-in-real-estate-finance

The client would be for a large corporate account that has a lot of ground-up projects going on, and I would have to travel regionally to cover it all.

Searching glassdoor and other online resources there seems to be a large pay jump from the Senior PM role and VP, the next step up. Is it normal for there to be a jump as big as approx 120k-160k between these two positions? I don't want to lowball myself, but don't want to price myself out either.

My relevant background is approx 10 years PM experience on the construction side but not at a GC, with an industry related BS and Masters, plenty of high-dollar and complex project experience.

From inside knowledge, a SPM working on client account outsourced PM projects would be in a range of $100-130k base on average with a 10% target commission. The number depends on years of experience and ability, and sometimes which account you are working on. On very large accounts, you are a commodity where the client "buys" a number of project managers, at a negotiated fee. The CBRE/JLL account manager can reallocate salary and bonuses among the internal team as seen fit based on performance, but there isn't wide discretion with bases, only bonuses. These types of firms have bands/brackets for salary range, but they overlap. VPs typically have a higher target bonus, like 20%.
