Savills Studley - Any Info On Them?

Anybody know anything about this firm? Some older threads have them ranked as more of a Tier III brokerage behind HFF, CBRE, JLL etc etc.

Anybody have specifics? Prestige, deal flow, comp. Specifically looking for info in the DC area but any insight would be beneficial overall.

They're a tenant rep firm, think CRESA and a few others, I don't know too many of them since I work in investment sales.

I'm not sure of the footprint they have globally, but I think they're a lot stronger in the UK/Europe than in the US. They don't have much market share in my city.

You mentioned HFF which is an investment sales only firm, if you want to work in I-Sales, Savills is not the place to go. If you want to work in tenant rep and don't have an offer at any of the larger companies in your market, it could be a fine play.

Definitely depends on what you want your focus to be and also depends on what product type you want to be in: Here’s my 2 cents:

Investment sales -Large Retail Centers - Eastdil, JLL, CBRE, HFF

-Net Lease or small retail - Marcus and Millichap, SRS, Sands Investment Group, Matthews Retail Group, Colliers, some CBRE Groups, Stan Johnson,

Hotels- JLL, HWE, Eastdil

Office- CBRE , JLL

Multi family - Cushman Wakefield, CBRE, ARA

Tenant Rep Office- CBRE, Savills Studley, CRESA, Colliers

Retail- SRS, Franklin Street

Landlord Rep Office- JLL, Stream Realty, CBRE

Retail- Colliers, The Shopping Center Group, Franklin Street, maybe CBRE

I’m sure people will add more as they see fit
