He pushed me to be more intentional about how I talk about my experience and gave me concrete steps to prepare for interviews, from tailoring my resume to practicing financial modeling. Fannie & Freddie both have a minimum fee requirement of 1.00%. Any shop that quotes below that is collecting $$ on the backend and baking it into the rate.

I would say market is between 1%-2%.
