Schack student and future

I'm planning to go Schack Institute of Real Estate as master student at NYU this Fall Any comments or students graduated there?

To begin with, I'm currently graduate student in South Korea(Urban Planning) Then go to Schack this fall semester, 2017.

I have several questions.

First, How's it going in real estate industry to International candidates?

Second, I have plan to network as much as possible, 2 years for 2000 people. How do you think of this tactic in order to touch down company in terms of REITs, IB, or Broker..

Lastly, I have skills to analyze big data by using R, STATA, SPSS, ArcGIS and so on. Is this helpful in this area?( I know Argus and Excel most useful )

Thanks.

Hey,

I'm a current Schack student (part-time). The school provides tremendous networking opportunities. Given that, finding opportunities really depend on how you build relationships and hustle. I have a classmate who already found investment sale job in the 1st semester.

I'm not quite sure about the big data part. I think it also depends on what you plan to do after graduation. But it would be a great skill set if you go to a property tech company?

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions about the program.
