I know these firms are owned by Blackstone. Do they only do asset management and property managment for blackstone? I’m assuming people at blackstone make the investment decision and then pass it down to these firms?

It’s just kind of strange because there’s people on LinkedIn that say they do real estate asset management at blackstone. I’m assuming those people maybe work on other asset classes ?
