Should RE financial statements be audited?
Hi all, I'm advising a client who owns a portfolio consisting of 5 commercial real estate properties with appx 5M total gross rental income and 2.5M NOI. Is it best practice to have the financial statements audited for properties of this size? By the big 4 or are there RE-specific firms? Would doing so significantly enhance the assets when positioning for a sale? Thanks for your insight.
