Should you ask this question in interviews?
In interviews, should you ask how compensation at the firm scales? Often times people will mention the comp range for the role, but not much how it can, or typically does scale down the line. Are people asking this question in interviews? If so, how has the person interviewing you responded?
I just did the other day when discussing an associate position, but with the context that I would grow within the firm. I wouldn't ask if it was an analyst position.
How’d you phrase it?
