Single Family Home Data
I'm starting to look at potential single family home purchases and am curious if you guys have any good resources to easily pull historical sales data for neighborhoods, tax history, current owners, etc. I've been exporting sales data from Redfin, which is pretty helpful, but wondering if there is anything else out there that you guys have used before.
I know Zillow has sales and price history for each home, but I find their interface to be irritating and I'm not sure how to export the data to make it usable, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks guys.
If you want aggregated data, Zillow actually has pretty easy to access data by neighborhood, metro, and zip code

The FHFA publishes a lot of different indices, including one that drills down to individual zip codes. The start date varies based on the number of transactions per zip code, but I've found that it goes back much further than Zillow in most zips.

Thank you! That seems like a good resource
Metrostudy or BrightMLS depending on where you're located. LandVision is good too.
Ok, so I know I'm 2 years late to the party, but does LandVision have housing data?
Edit: To clarify, housing data on the scale of MetroStudy, for a collective area, rather than just individually.
