Single Family Property Management Acquisitions Analyst

I have searched this forum up and down and can't find what I am looking for so here goes:

Are Single family prop management acquisition analysts given ample exit opps? What is the pay like for firms like these who buy single family homes and rent them out?

Do analysts make much or make carry?

What are your goals?

Exit ops: Tough to break into CRE. Your exit ops will likely be limited to the single family space. CRE Property Management is tough for exit ops, let alone Residential Property Management.

Pay: Property Management typically has limited upside.

Carry: Most likely not. However you mentioned this is acquisitions and single family space is still the wild west for the most part.

Going along with the last point- I believe there is a lot of untapped upside. There are cool firms out there operating in the single family space (Plus Development Group to name one). My best friend used to work for this guy who created one of the largest Single Family Property Management firms during the Great Recession. He sold it and has a solid 9 Figure Net Worth.
