I am currently working as a CMBS new deal analyst at one of the big 3 RAs in NYC (about 4-5 months on the job). Due to high amounts of turnover and being understaffed, I'd have the opportunity to be a bit more exposed to underwriting, modeling, and conduits/agency deals.
I was recently reached out by Situs AMC for a CMBS investment banking role at one of the large European banks. Apparently I would be a "real" employee for the bank but the bank wants to manage their balance sheet, hence why I would be contracted through Situs AMC. I was told that this was very normal for European CMBS investment banks to do.
Reaching out on here to find out more about this, any pos/neg experiences, will I be fully intergrated, can I say i work for the Bank rather than Situs AMC

Pretty normal. I’m currently in a CMBS through contracted through SITUS. It’s pretty normal as everyone on the floor is paid through Situs even some MDs.
the European bank is probably a British one ;)
I interviewed once through situs and asked the hiring manager at the bank if situs employees are treated any differently (it’s situs doing payroll instead of the bank) and he literally had no idea what I was talking about and said they’re just recruiters
