Does anyone in the development space work frequently with CDFIs or serve on the board for any? I have worked at a CDFI in the past and have long experience in lending and credit operations. I've often toyed with the idea of starting a fund but never had the kind of capital necessary to stand one up from scratch. I've found an investor group potentially willing to back a new fund and before I start doing market research wanted to see if anyone on this forum could provide some guidance that I've not already considered. I welcome any comments or PMs on the matter.
