Team model in commercial real estate brokerage
I am hearing a lot about the growing trend of a team model in commercial real estate brokerage. I know it already exists at the big firms like CBRE, JLL, etc... Is this becoming the norm at boutiques as well? How does a team model effect earning potential as well as the day-to-day of the role? I am considering a career move into CRE brokerage and am really attracted to the entrepreneurial nature of the role but am concerned a team model really erodes that. Look forward to getting people's thoughts on this.
