The next Self Storage and Twitter Storage bros
Piggybacking off another thread alot of people are looking for real estate's next great niche asset class, particularly after the success of self-storage in recent years. While self-storage has been on a tear the market has become increasingly competitive and oversaturated. I'm sure we've all seen the many many many self storage bros on Real Estate Twitter. (Thread: https://twitter.com/SultanofStorage/status/163314…) Now I think investors are now eager to identify the next niche real estate asset class that could offer similar potential for growth and returns.
I know some hot asset classes are data centers, industrial, healthcare, but are there niches within them that small REPE owner-operators can consolidate throughout?
