The Seattle Office Market

For a variety of reasons I want to learn more about the Seattle office market. I've scoured broker research, white papers, ULI reports, etc. and have a good high-level overview, but it's nothing like someone who is active in the space in Seattle right now.

What can Seattle pros tell me other than "wow, Amazon." Do you see rents getting anywhere near the ~$74/SF of the Bay Area? What's the development pipeline like? Who's executed on projects or closed deals you wish you had gotten and why?

I think the Portland market is going to the best market in West Coast in years to come. It is sandwiched between SF and Seattle, and has similar fundamentals, but at a fraction of the cost of Seattle/SF, but one of the fastest employment growth rates and rental rate growth in MF and office rents.
